The Karada difference

This is never a “massage”. This is AP Balance.

Think of Thai traditional massage, Taiwanese massage, Japanese Shiatsu, chiropractic, Ayurveda… Karada analysed every technique in the world, built on millions of clinical experiences, and developed one special technique.

AP Balance is an original Karada technique that aligns the first cervical bone, the Atlas, and the main base of the body, the Pelvis. It mixes principles of chiropractic, osteopathy and Thai massage, and includes both bone alignment and muscle treatment.

  • Relieves body pain and helps prevent it from recurring
  • Helps remove stress and improves hormonal balance

AP Balance

Our signature. Aligns the Atlas and the Pelvis with bone alignment and muscle treatment, to relieve pain and help prevent it from coming back.

Body Treatment

A dry treatment (no oil) that loosens stiff muscles using bodyweight instead of mere force, plus stretching. “Itakimochii”: painful but relaxing, masakit pero masarap.

Foot Treatment

Best for detoxifying. Flushes out the waste products that cause swelling (manas) and relieves tired legs and feet, perfect after a day in heels.

Karada Stretch

A unique power-stretch method that aims to improve bodily functions, not just within the joints but down to the nerve level.

First experience with chiropractor (AP Balance). Adjustments helped me get better sleep. The therapists know what they’re doing. Reasonably priced, clean and well kept place, great session overall!

FAQ

Good to know before your visit

Is Karada a chiropractic treatment?
No. Karada follows a Japanese realignment method that focuses on posture correction and body balance, distinct from chiropractic adjustments.
What do AP, BT and FT mean?
AP is AP Balance (Atlas and Pelvis alignment), BT is Body Treatment and FT is Foot Treatment. They can be combined, e.g. “AP Balance & BT”.
What should I do after a treatment?
Stay hydrated, rest and avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours, and do the gentle stretches your therapist recommends. Avoid alcohol or too much caffeine right after. Wait at least 2 hours before taking a bath, and avoid heavy meals immediately after your session.
Is it normal to feel sore afterwards?
Yes. Mild soreness is normal as your muscles adjust and should go away within a day or two. If discomfort lasts longer than a few days, please consult a professional.
How often should I come?
It depends on your condition, lifestyle and preference. Regular sessions give the best results. Your therapist will recommend a plan.
Who should not take a Karada treatment?
Please tell us before your session if you are pregnant, had surgery in the last 3 months, or were injured in the last 48 hours; or if you have fractures, osteoporosis or osteopenia, varicose veins or other skin conditions, open wounds or bruises, swelling (pitting edema), numbness or tingling, loss of strength in your arms or legs, or a heavy menstrual flow. If you have a serious medical condition, consult your doctor first.
Is there a minimum age?
Generally, anyone aged 7 and above can receive treatment. Minors need parental consent.
How do I book?
Book online on this website for instant confirmation, or call us. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability, but booking ahead is recommended.
